Looks good! Believe my last slide was held down with two 4.8 M5 bolts and didn’t move an inch in 4 years
Just drive to @bmf4069 and take the crown vic from there. I think everyone would appreciate seeing that thing run during GFF

When I get back 100% of my time and energy is going into that car to get it right. Now that it's making boost it's a hoot to drive.

-350 miles in averaging 14.3 mpg on 37s at 75 mph. Not to shabby, smooth sailing so far today. And if we were supposed to update when we left I missed it but for the record I beat @Explorer by a little over 2 hours :D

I would not recommend the liquid sealant stuff as its going to swell your wheel seals swell and they will eventually leak too. I'm also not sure if that stuff works on gasket/rtv (shop probably used rtv, and not enough) but its your truck

I'm not a 1st gen but I should have an open seat for most of this if Pandra and @papasmurf aren't riding with me. You're welcome to it
I know it was briefly mentioned before but I need the full backstory here
I'm always down for night runs and shenanigans

My old (2020 w/ 18k miles) Tundra was rear-ended a couple months before T2S '23. After a many weeks of them saying it's totally repairable, the day it was supposed to be finished, like a week or so before Sedona, they called and said they were going to total it. I bought another truck, but it wasn't going to be delivered in time. So, the 'ol lady's pink Wrangler it was!

Turned out it's not the pinion seal, but the grommet from e-locker harness is cracked. I don't know what I'm going to do.
Toy Lex is trying to patch it, but made it clear that it's not guaranteed. Hopefully he can order the correct part to install next week before Jambo. He said it was fine at low speeds, but once at high speeds is when the gear.oil started coming out. I guess it was leaking onto the pinion and flinging everywhere
    :(

If they can't get it call Findlay Toyota and order it from them. They are local and sponsor the event and are coming I believe Saturday to feed all of us. If you can just get the truck to AZ you can probably replace it on site

I’m sure @TRDFerguson can come up with a jimmyrig fix..

My first thought was toss a little lexel around it. Stuff will seal anything

It's an Eaton e-locker, not TRD.
Sedona is a 20hr drive at high speeds ...

Or a 20hr drive in my other Tundra. The drive itself will be nicer in my 2wd, but it'll be useless once I get there.

sounds like something a 4 wheel parts or other offroad vendor might carry. SDHQ maybe? @KevinK

I noticed I was topping off less than half a quart every 300 miles. I think I'll take my chances with the temporary fix and just top it off once I get to DFW and Amarillo. Then I can reevaluate
