2018 leds to morimoto headlights now DRLS not working taillights not working.

    hello just swaped out my headlights to the morimoto’s now my DRL/remote start and taillights not working.

    can someone please help

    Sounds like blown fuses.

    It’s blowing fuses. I replaced them back with my stock headlights and they are working fine.

    Alot of them
    Make sure both fuses in the fuse tap are 10 amps and also plugged into the correct spot.

    Yes. I made sure they are the right amps and and plugged into the correct spot. Can it be the Marimoto modules or the wire harnesses?

    I have the Hirev taillights can that be a problem?

    A little bit of this... A little bit of that.....
    Double check how you have the morimoto plugs connected, happened to me when I first installed mine. I had the wrong combination of plugs connected and it blew an oem fuse under the dash behind the hood release.

    Yup! That’s where my fuses were blowing .

    They all seem to be plugged in correctly. Which plugs if you remember were not properly plugged in?

    Sounds like a similar situation I ran into. I used the adapter and configured the wires to the configuration that matched my DRL harness and it worked.

    thanks @Umbreon ! that’s exactly what the problem was.. had a little trouble removing the pins , but eventually i got it!

    Morimoto’s are working now!
