That's part of the "scam" of scAmazon. The same unit is available, with updated plastic graphics insert, identical chassis and button layout, under a new brand. Sometimes you still get the old brand name product, but in a box with a sticker over the original box sticker (it's cheap as hell to produce the new sticker versus printing a new box or faceplate)

They keep the products around until either (A) the warranty period starts to generate a lot of returns, or (B) they sell out of inventory. Once they reach either threshold, they pull the product and list it under a different name.

This is the current product that looks identical, compare to yours, not the only thing different is the graphics on the face, which are all [intentionally] bullshit made-up names anyway: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BRXKDLF7/

Compare to the one you linked:

I have a Geveelife 40v 1/2" impact for home use that is "identical" to a Makita GWT02Z at 1/4 the price. Literally the drill, case, batteries and charger. They even advertise that the batteries are compatible with Makita. I'm certain that the same company slaps a Makita sticker on it and sells it to suckers on such platforms as scamazon and fleabay.

It's what's under the cover that matters. PF covers it nicely in this video. It's probably not the same case with the one you're bought, maybe they're being honorable about the labeling. The internals are where the $$$ comes into play, and the battery is the most expensive part of the tool these days, sometimes being 80% of the cost. The tool is a giveaway in some cases.

Still gotta get the skids back on. Yesterday one of the rivnuts took a shit and we spent half the today fighting em. Today we needed to charge the battery for Casey's drill, because we're going to drill a hot in the top of the sub frame and put a bolt and nut thru it and skid. Might have the waller out the skid hole some too. That why we did the leafs today and skipped the skids. Hopefully tomorrow we get it all done.

And hopefully tomorrow and Sunday @bmf4069 installs his UCAs and adjusts his coilovers, so he can get an alignment before Wednesday

either the stock sized 245/70-16 or a pinch taller and more narrow 215/85-16 tires for the commuter scooter win. Better MPG, better cruise control functionality, longer transmission life, longer ball joint life, lots faster acceleration!

Super subtle little **HINT HINT NOD NOD NUDGE NUDGE** there

    BEEF! It's what's for dinner.

Beef ribs are criminally underrated. I have big f'n dozen-bone rack sitting in the chest freezer right now with some venison, both of which need to get done soon. Costco's business store has stupid pricing on BBQ meats.

Talked to the parents. They pulled the rack on their JK and are looking to sell it.

They asked me to line them up with a radio that has a knob, supports wireless carplay, and a backup camera. So I picked up the Jensen CAR723W-BC, a PAC RP4-CH11 to adapt, dash kit, USB adapter, and antenna adapter.

Spent some time knocking that out this morning. I think I enjoy this aspect of installs more than anything these days.

There ain't no saguaro in Texas, but we sure got a lot of prickly pear.
I thing if on of the AZ guys like @FrenchToasty or @Azblue hooked him up with a saguaro, that he could change that.
