Yeah, most don’t come with the hardware now, seems so hard to just get the garnish these days.

Luckily the handle is easy to find and replace if needed any handle can be used for the left or right side.

I had to on mine cause it was kinda beat up from the last owner I got it from. But it was only cosmetic only need, function normally when I got it. A little staining never really bothered me.

I honestly would check out Ace hardware, they seem to have every nut and bolt in the world. Luckily the pre existing 10mm bolt that’s holding the original panel can be reused for the top portion.

I’ve been trying to research the torque setting they suggest when installing the two bolts. Can’t find it anywhere. I’m gonna guess maybe 25-30 ft pounds?

I’ll see what else I can dig up/videos.

Give me ideas of maintenance items you guys keep on the shelf to have ready for upcoming maintenance. Truck is at 40k. I've done coolant, power steering, oil of course, I got ATF already on the shelf ready, full set of brakes(rotors/pads/shims/pins etc).

    5hrs left:goingcrazy:

Do you need any mud flaps? OEM ones are nice

Nah, no mudflaps for me. May even consider removing the stock ones on the truck eventually.

It'll be back, probably around Memorial Day if timing stays persistent.

I do really appreciate that they combined the 25% with their already very fair online discounts.

I feel like it will almost be a constant promotion. I had ordered from a previous one, and then like a month later found this thread again and Fred was back running it again. Just wait a month.

Are you jsp? Tell the truth now.

Jk, but if you are, keep the prices low please.

The BIN on that ebay is double that of a factory OE replacement and there's no reason rock auto or sorta fit can't sell an 07-13 clone or .jp passenger side OE for less than eBay has to offer on junkyard pulls.

Nope, but someone on here helped me get one in a similar way and I was very thankful. I paid about the same, prices are high cause OEM are tough to find. Sparksparts was where I got my last one. I agree, it’s expensive. Are there good clones out there by rock auto?

Honestly, IDK. And I did not think to look up either of the alternatives that I suggested.

Hell, I don't even know if an '07 to 13 driver side grab handle trim will fit in a 14 to 21, I just assume it does. I also assume that the tundra sold in Japan from 14 to 21 are right hand drive and have interiors which mirror US Tundras. This would allow for an easy, factory OE, front left side replacement of the part that we all so desperately seek and desire. Maybe someone could look into that for us or quote previous findings?

On mine when I ordered it I had to trim the piece, had to do the same thing with Sparksparts one for my older truck. Worked really well. I just assumed if in English it was the USA part haha.

Damn. Ya I'm not that smart. I've been thinking about this a lot and just now, five minutes ago, it occurred to me that a lot of other countries have right side drive so they would have the part we are looking for if their passenger side has the grab handle. Damn...language would have been a good helper in this search.
