Installed a repaired heat shield above the tailpipe that attached to the bed underside.

Put the front skidplate back on after cleaning things up a bit, under there.

Parked next to my trucks big brother while picking up some grub

Mine have been gone for the last 5 years. I've been wondering what the results would be, but can claim no excitement.

I guess it is there to minimize water from blasting the front diff in the rain

I found a ton of leaves inside the front frame near where the cab mounts are located. I guess the leaves get sucked into the frame, even though the opening faces rearwards. Finally got use of a 2' long blowtip i bought for my compressor, years ago

Removed the factory nerf bars / steps, so I can blast and coat the mounting brackets. Broke 2 bolts off in separate locations, so Ill need to figure out a fix

Looks nice. Looks like the sidewall is flush with the fender flares. That’s perfect in my opinion.

New high output Alternator on the way and upgraded steering rack bushings. Might as well while it’ll be apart

Save those mounting bushings from the old alternator. Most new ones don't come with them.

It sucks because the bushings are carbon steel and the alternator housing is aluminum. Those 2 parts galvanic weld to each other.

I had to destroy my old alternator housing to salvage those mounting bushings.

Let us know if they are now coming with bushings included.

I’ve had mine for a few years now with no issues. Just full disclosure, there have been quite a few instances of very poor customer service with them, but I’ve been pretty lucky with purchasing these lights and their window modules.

They have a kit for 2 auto switches now for the harness. They didn’t when I first ordered so I had to hardwire the passenger side. Driver side was plug and play.

Oh wow, no way!? That would be nuts!! On my way to and from Atlanta I like that it's an easy drive for the most part, lots to look at. But Cleveland merging with Chatt. would be something else. Like a suburb of Chattanooga or something.

Not sure if you would want to do this or not but I'd be really interested if you would do a sort of step by step of what needs to be done with your Tundra. With pics of course....ha ha ha
Anyway, I'm sure others here would find it interesting as well. But no problem at all if you'd rather not do that. I know how we only have so many days in the week.

Thanks and the install wasn't bad.Cutting the dang template off the shipping box was a PITA .I used an exacto knife and scissors for the template and a carpet knife for the removal of the carpet/insulation.I wanted a tight fit so I cut to the slim side

It’s a Dreamcolor ambient lighting kit from Amazon. It’s been a few years so I don’t have a link handy.

Changing rear diff fluid. Old fluid is actually pretty clean, but 100k on the clock.

Well these will be thrown in when the motors out. So little bit different process of install than what most will do. @snivilous will be doing the work since I’m deep in work season and have zero time. I’m sure he will share a ton of pics as we progress. Got some other things in mind to update as well in other areas while it’s down.
