2020 DC rear interior door removal

    Anyone have a go by for removing the rear interior door panel on a 2020 Tundra DC. The body shop never tightenen the screw for my door handle completely. i tried searching and got tons of junk no answers.

    If you're referring to the rear passenger door panels, its pretty straight forward. There are 2 screws. One is located behind the cover of the interior door handle and the other is below the carpet looking piece of the door armrest. Remove screws, and then pry the interior panel pulling towards you starting at the bottom. Lift it up away from the window slot. There will be 2 cables attached to the door handle that has to be removed as well as the electrical plug to the window up/down switch.

    Can you not just tighten the screw without removing the door?

    Video;
    Your 2020 will be the same..
    Be careful lifting the switch panel, the door interior scratches VERY easily..

    Make sure to replace any clips that may be stuck in the door.
    And as @danz75 stated, remove the cables for the lock and handle.
    Make a note of which one is on top and which is on the bottom.
