Bilstein 5100’s on middle setting. I did not do any trimming and there is no rubbing whatsoever. BUT, in my experience, the BFG’s im running tend to run a little smaller than other brands in that size, so test fit whatever you’re thinking of putting on.

thanks man, that's definitely a helpful data point. I keep hearing mixed things about tire size fitment on stock suspension.

I’m sure you would be fine if you went with the same size tires with stock suspension. They are only 1 size bigger than what came on the truck. If not, well then you have an excuse for adjustable bilstein’s :D

Ended up going with the Method 318 in 40mm offset. Tires are Yokohama Geolandar X-AT's 285/65R18 which offer a bigger look than stock but don't rub at all which is great. Totally stock suspension as of right now but planning to do the Eibach stage 2r kit in the next few months.

Looks really nice. I have been eying those wheels. Any issues with balancing the Yokohamas? Also, how is the ride with those? TIA

The Yokohama's seem pretty good so far. I got them in standard load range vice the E load which really helps with ride quality. They balance well and arent too loud on the highway. They balance better than wildpeaks and KO2s ive had in the past. Hope this helps.

Thanks. Appreciate the input. It's hard to find the best tire these days to address multiple needs without sacrificing too much with on road manners.

For comparison sake do you have a front shot to see the side poke ? I had 18x9 +40 AR201s with 285/75R18 Duratracs and the poke was a little much. I kept the tire and put it on BBS pro wheels. I like the look but it runs the sway bar now. Now thinking of these methods and wondering if the 1/2” less rim width will keep it tucked in a little bit more. It never ends I need to stop with the wheel changes. …. Pic of my poke with the AR201. Pic of current pro wheels. Love the style but my truck looks like it skips leg day now.
