Shifty might recall better, but I thought it was mainly the bearing on the bracket that was going bad on people with issues, I assume the fan can still be on, just check for play where the clutch mates to the bracket

Took advantage of a non-rainy day and replaced the map, dome, door, and kick panel bulbs with LED's. It's a bright day!

I can take a look tomorrow and if they’re in good shape I’ll grab them.

Put on new headlight assemblies with led projectors, however all 3 10mm nuts were rusted and broke completely off on the passenger side along with the bolts. The bolts are attached to the frame and the nut is supposed to thread onto it. Only the philips head screw on the top is holding the headlight in place. WTH can I do to fix this? I'm guessing welding is the only way?

Looks like you could grab some of them real tight with vise grips and turn them out. Even easier if you file two flat edges to grab onto.

The others you might be drilling out.

You should make a thread on how to do it with pics. I'd love to do this some day.

The only problem is they aren't supposed to come out, they are apart of/attached to that larger metal piece that is attached to the body. That said, maybe you're right about drilling them out--could work and would allow a hole to be used to insert a new bolt piece. Thank you

By some miracle I didn’t cut out anything that holds the factory fog housing in place LOL

I do like the all clear turn signal and housing better than the black.

Moved them up to the grille. I had 3 XL’s and 2 squadrons. Now all 5 are XL’s. They look perfect there, but I can’t use them on the street at all cause they’re too bright and the beam is too tall.

I got some of these after watching a buddy effortlessly strip my spindles to bare metal with them. I've used them a couple times for surface rust since and they weren't half bad.

Ah shoot. Been a little while since I've been in there. I thought it was just welded nuts with bolts threaded in. But yeah, drilling out and putting a bolt and nut through would work. I hate drilling out broken bolts...

What brand of LED did you use (or where did you get them)? I replaced all my internal lights with LEDs about 2 years ago and now 1/4 of them are out.

A buddy gave me some ditch light brackets a few months ago so they're going on the A pillars. I was going to wait until we lifted it or made it look less stock, but oh well lol.

OME 2.5” leveling kit. 285/70R17 Toyo RT, 17x9” -12 offset wheels. Arb air lockers front and rear. 12,000 hidden badlands winch.
It drives like normal unlocked. Surprisingly it doesn’t drive as bad as I thought it would locked, but I’ve only had to use the lockers in the snow and mud and not very often. If I air the tires down and engage the lockers though, this thing will go almost anywhere. Long wheel base sucks for big rocks, humps, etc obviously (not a Jeep) but it crushes it in mud and snow.
