I was looking at my useless far left toggle in front of the shifter this morning thinking how convenient it would be for a light bar. I used one of the larger rectangular push buttons on my Gen 2 down by my knee for a light bar and it could be hard to find while watching the road.

This is interesting. I thought even the top most options up to the 2025 could fill out all those spots except for the far right one. I guess Toyota had planned on adding the tailgate option there but only just released it for the 2025.

I’ve got the poor man’s build with just the traction control toggle off to the left of the emergency blinkers. All other spaces are free.

I know it’s a new fancy circuit board in there and all, but it sure would be nice if one day we get an aftermarket panel for this location to add any switches we want…

Who's the usual suspect that makes OEM style push switches? Maybe we should should pick a manufacturer and spam them with requests.

I don’t know who that would be but I like the idea! It’s likely a few companies have already started looking at this.

Now I’m wondering if there’s a possible options pack out there that fills up the entire switch panel there with the added tailgate close switch on the ‘25…

So yours new rig is just missing the AVS which would be between the tailgate switch and the locker switch?

On second thought maybe AVS won’t have the locker

AVS does not have the locker, did you not review the link I posted above in this thread #33? Shows switches for truck with AVS.

I failed to review it. Didn’t know we had a test.

Does anyone have any of the square blanks laying around? I need one for a project I'm doing.

Got to thinking could order some custom small decal sticks to put on the blanks with letters GNDN 1 GNDN 2 and so on that would look better. Makes the blanks look important. Oh! GNDN = goes nowhere does nothing. Could maybe even have one labeled ejection seat.:) https://www.etsy.com/listing/1854218184/creative-car-switch-button-stickers?gpla=1&gao=1&
As someone mentioned it would have been nice if they had place aux switches similar to the tacoma trailhunter

Wondering as I just bought a higher end panel if a simple swap out would gain me access to more options than my sr5 panel

This is an interesting question and I’ve thought about this. I looked into the wires that came into my connector there and noticed some extra wiring for options I didn’t have.

    upload_2025-3-31_7-47-46.png

It’s hard to tell in the pic but I have the #12 (light green) and #13 (pink) wires for up and down manual suspension control. Funny thing is my SR5 doesn’t have this option. I don’t know why they would have included that but just found it interesting it was there.

    None … yet
Can I get the TAILGATE TOGGLE added to my 24 Capstone Hybrid? Might the wiring already be present and just needs the switch? I found that to be the case with my 2006 Highlander Hybrid.

Has anyone looked “under the dash” and found anything? Thanks
