I joined the “tried to steal my tundra” club today. Calling the cops, then see if I can get it started? They hooked into the electronics, do you know if I can just hook everything back up? My keys don’t currently work.

assuming I need to take it to the dealership? Please let me know what you did. Also. I guess the IGLA did its jobIMG_4965.jpg IMG_4965.jpg IMG_4968.jpg

Well that just sucks and on top of it,it's Monday I hope you have a secondary means to get to work...
What kind of club is this?
They come over and screw/try and take your truck for fun and now it's stranded & now you have to foot the bill on that one, yeah good luck with that.
Explaining that one to the dealership sounds like an episode of Seinfeld.

Wonder why it didn't work, seems like people who sorta knew their task.

Don't expect a lick of help from the police, they will literally do nothing, unless you have a signed confession from the thief. It will be required to get your insurance claim though.

Ya. Ontario. It’s got an immobilizer on it, so they couldn’t drive it off. Now we see if my expensive insurance takes care of it.

There is a special place in hell for thieves.
Side note I've heard nothing but good things about that IGLA.

That sucks; hate this for you. Hopefully karma delivers a swift kick in the dick to whoever did this. And I hope that your insurance company takes care of all of this

Printed? So for a break in attempt you think the cops are going to get all hands on deck. Dust the entire vehicle for prints and dna to match to some government know everything about everybody database? Nope..... Only on TV

A cop may show up and then just take a report for your insurance company. One and done.

They left a cable, so the cops came by and picked it up.

Gee maybe if they did put in an effort which is what we pay for the crime may go down. A car is the second most valuable thing most people own besides their house. When you tolerate crime it goes up

Honestly you cant lump all cops together, some are doing hard dangerous work others are passing time in auto theft waiting for retirement

Man, that sucks! I HATE thieves.

As others have said, in your situation doing the insurance deductible is your best bet for getting it fixed properly at a dealership. If you're not comfortable with it after the scumbags were into the wiring you can always sell or trade it on a new truck to leave the bad juju behind.

Also didn’t know what IGLA was and had to look it up.

Glad they didn’t key the heck out of it or throw a rock through the windows/windscreens/body panels out of spite either.
