    None at this point.
    Yeah...
    I think I mentioned I'm 2 years from hitting 60.
Just the thought of mowing my yard every weekend makes me tired.
Which of course is the reason I pay a yard guy to deal with it.
These days I save my strength for doing the things I like.

That’s good input. I’ll have to get a better feel for the space I want to use for a lift once the building is up and everything is in there, including the camper. If I can still use the lift as a parking spot to park a vehicle on top of when not using it, it’s not a huge turnoff to me despite the footprint.

4posts are rad...easier to store more than one car, too...they make them movable too, so no need for drilling into your slab anymore...Bendpack, in my opinion, has the highest quality welds and steel AND if you wait until memorial day, they have a solid sale going on...$7k and you have the hydraulic 110v lift and the $600 casters for moving where you want to more often...my buddy just bought one and could've saved 15% if he waited: last photo are the casters...

To unmuddy my comment, I don't know anything about the Maggie box you are asking about but I think others have addressed it.

I was only talking about the custom straight tube potentially not properly fitting between the Maggie snout and the air box.

    Just had a lightbulb moment.

What does everyone do with their factory intake manifolds? Do you add them to the parts shelf or do you toss them?

    Asking for a friend.

    LOL.

I'm just seeing who has what and if I can purchase or trade my current for one that is collecting dust but that hasn't had water/methanol/oil concoction fumes run through it.

It's probably fine, but with the catch can being filled with a cloudy/clear liquid (not oil), and with XAT taking forever, I had the "oh shit, I should probably look into a replacement" moment last night. Then the chat about spare motors happened, which made me realize the turbo keeps the factory manifold, but this thread is filled with people who remove it, so, maybe one man's trash is another man's treasure kind of thing.

Is vaporized methanol fine like it appears to be in liquid form against the plastic and electronics? Maybe. But I can tell you I drink a lot of things I'd never willingly inhale, soooo... :notsure:

Oh! And I can't afford this right, but it was my original thought since I read about the plastic bits causing performance issues around 15psi or so.

Ah. I was thinking you wanted to have it ported out to help with the flow.

Soak it in simple green, rinse it out, let it dry. Meth isn't going to hurt it. Meth has been around for a long time with composite intakes with no issues.

Personally I wouldn't get a 4 post (where I am currently in life :D ), it seems extremely restrictive (and just in general huge) if wrenching is your primary concern. Storing vehicles is a whole different question, though a 2 post can do that fine too just takes an extra three minutes to move the arms into position. The four post when nothing on it seems massive, the 2 post is already annoying enough to work around since it's two random columns in the shop. You might have those center bridge things, but you're still stuck with just a sliver of central access to reach things instead of the entire underside just floating with nothing around it. Not to say you can't wrench a lot with a 4 post, but you're not using a 4 post to pull an axle off your truck or other "intensive" or "large" tasks like that. I think it heavily depends on what you want to use the lift for, obviously in my case I like moving engines around, redoing suspension, fabricating shit, etc. so I want maximum freedom and just something to lift. I can store vehicles on it and that's a perk, but not why I got it. A 4 post is the opposite I'd argue, it's mainly to store stuff, and any access and wrenching benefits are perks since you're pretty blocked from a lot of the vehicle just due to the drive on aspect.

And a 2 post has a lot of other uses since it's so modular, not that you can't rig up a 4 post, but like working on the trailer to swap wheel bearings, lifting the bed off of a truck, lifting your truck to get to the fuel tank, using the lift like an engine hoist, there's tons of things I've done that were beyond just "put vehicle in air" since you have a 5ft tall hydraulic ram attached to the ground like a mini crane.

100% agreed! You can do more with 2 posts and with less cramped space! I use my 2 post to swap tires on the tractor, wheeler, SxS, etc! As stated, it's dependent on your "stage in life!"

I got the aluminum, I figured at some point I'll drill/tap for Nitrous or meth and wanted a harder material, even though they say the delrin is hard enough to tap.
