Been playing in those temps - freezing too. It’s dipped down to around 30s at night and when I open it up, it launches.

CAI definitely has its benefits here in the North East during this time of the year. My MPG has been sitting in the 8-9s with my heavy footing. Lol

She’s been to the gas station more times than I can count this week.

The cold weather has really helped the Stillen reach it's full potential for me as well but like @pvn.beluga said, it's not good on the MPG :( I've been heavy on the acceleration lately. :burnrubber:

I really thought it was just me. I was heavy on the pedal with my RSX, and I thought it just carried over to the Tundra.

But that Stillen wants me to floor it every single time.

On top of that, the Carven just screams!

This thread is at the top of my "new posts" screen and it made me remember physically seeing and touching this kit over the summer when we were looking to see if it would supply air for my turbo. It would not, so it was posted for sale by Jesse. Not sure how pricing is or if it is even still available, but if someone is shopping, maybe it could be beneficial for both parties if you reached out to @TurboKits

Thats awesome. 3rd gens have pretty solid intake temps stock, surprisingly. I've been monitoring temps via the dash ambient display and my JB4 PIDs...0-2* variance at hwy speeds. Do the 5.7s wake up with the colder temps?

Idle temps are probably a lot higher, but once it starts pulling in air, it’s a matter a minutes before my OBDLink MX+ shows IAT to be 0-1* of ambient temps.

I would honestly say colder temps and the CAI does bring out the 5.7. I’ve gotta get myself into an SC 5.7 to feel what it’s like. But with tow/haul on, like @TacomaTRD4x402 said, its pedal to the metal. Lol

    It feels extremely good.

Does the 3rd gen have 2 intakes?

Been watching this product for a long time. Been off the site a bit. But getting to jump back in and play with the tundra. Seems mostly positive but some mixed reviews on this. I extreme terrain has it listed at $355 right now. Worth it?

I can't seem to find the answer after searching, hopefully one of you can point me in the right direction. Which Dry filter is everyone using on their stillen intake. I bought mine on Facebook marketplace, It was a pretty easy install after I figured out don't put the bolts in until you look and line up the holes. it came with the oiled air filter but I would like to use the dry filter. I probably read every thread on this forum and it seems the only ones that have any trouble is the one with the oiled filter.

I replaced the filter it came with with the AFE Dry Filter. I bought 2 of them for a quick swap out while washing.

    Anytime!

They're a little pricey especially if you buy 2 but if you scroll just below the "Add to Cart" button, you might find one Used for $20 cheaper. I got my 2nd one used and it looks brand new to me.

Yep, I weighed my right foot and it's certainly heavier than my left. I wonder if that would hold up in court......

Do you guys run the pre-filter all the time? Any downside to that? Loss of air-flow?
