It had to be truck shipped and it came in a tractor trailer, lol. Not sure how I could get it shipped out.

When I had my Land Cruiser and hung out on ih8mud.com we used to have something that really needs to be established here on tundras.com.called mudship. With Mud ship, you could pay fellow members to transport parts for you. I bought a 1 piece welded full sized roof rack from a guy in Colorado and someone else brought it to Pismo Beach CA for me where I met them and picked it up and then installed it right there on the beach before heading home. I wish there was a system like that officially supported here.

I’m not familiar with how it works, but if you put it in a post and we get enough followers, you never know??

It would be a post in each of the marketplace forums called Tundraship for example. Then people could post up needs in either direction, I am selling this and need to get it to X city and state, though it's usually the buyer who will post up a listing. Then Member X says, hey, I have a road trip from point X to point Y and will have room to bring your item along. Then negotiate a price, case of beer etc. Tons of tire and wheel and other oversized items end up getting shipped that way. You may wait to get the item, but it is worth it with the bulky items especially.

On TacomaWorld it's called TW express. Someone requests a TW express and they set it up and manage it.

A metric buttload of items get shipped across the country this way.

So how do we get official approval and support for this here? Obviously it would need to be a pinned post with details in each marketplace sub forum.

In your region sub forum put in a Tundras Express Request.

This is how it's done on TacomaWorld:

Great idea. Guess this site is getting big enough now.

If you are local, I'll give you a better deal to get it out of here. Picking up my Gen 3 in South Lake Tahoe tonight. Had a damaged bumper on the back of my Gen 2.5 but never got around to installing this. Selling the 2.5 to CarMax in Reno today at noon who is giving me a great deal even with the bumper damage. Let me know, could meet you in Reno either Friday night or this weekend.

I'll make it easier on you. I'll meet you in Auburn this weekend if you want it. I need to get 1k miles on the Gen 3 before towing with it anyway, so I need to put some miles on, then do a 1k oil change before I start towing. A nice Auburn run would help with that.
