That’s correct but not really 2007-2013 was pretty much the same. Yes they added rock warrior package and change things a little like exhaust which is minor, wheels packages and ext.. but not a full mid cycle like they in 2014. In 2014 they change front end totally and rear end was updated as well. And also interior was updated as well with new dash and gauge cluster. So to answer your question yes their was a mid cycle refresh but not till 2014 and than they just kept updating them little by little as the years went on

yeah i never thought to look at the sequoia lineup for model numbers to figure out the why they jumped every odd number on the tundra model codes 30/50/70 since they were so close in size/frame.

Give me tow hooks, doors/cab that don’t rattle, bumper step and an engine that can make it to 300k and I’m good.

The only change I could see Toyota doing for the tundra in 2026 is possibly the trail hunter trim for the tundra? I’m not sure though. Other than that, I don’t expect many changes coming for 2026

Trailhunter was NEVER suppose to be introduced on the Tundra.

The Tundra team stole the idea from the Tacoma/4Runner team and there was quite a bit of infighting when it was unveiled at SEMA 2022. It came as a shock to the Tacoma/4Runner team.

It was never suppose to be for the Tundra and/or Sequoia. 100% for the smaller Body On Frame Trucks/SUVs.

The hardware has been in the MY22+ Tundra since it was introduced. It is 100% a server-side change that would be needed to activate it.

From that first link: "Toyota says it will introduce roughly 24 all-new, refreshed, or special edition Toyota and Lexus vehicles and start battery production at its new $13.9 billion North Carolina facility to meet future demands of our customers."

Come on Special Edition 2026 5.7 SC!

    I can dream, right?
