You're in Texas... The appropriate answer was 'The crisis will be lying on the ground just outside the door, and Ima finish my whiskey before I call the non-emergency police line.

The Fugu meal I had in Osaka was and still is one of the top things I have ever eaten in my life. Phenomenal.

Cool. I wanted to try it, but was a bit expensive. I regret not going for it now.

I was there for work and our customer took us out every night and paid for everything. They spent 10's of thousands of dollars on the 3 of us for the 7 days we were there just on food and drinks.
Amazing experience that I would never trade for anything.
Even being on the job site at Mitsubishi was a great experience.

Fugu chefs in Japan are licensed. If I ever try it, it'll be there. Fresh caught. Heh

It is odd. Just wait til the tariffs on it start. Then it'll get real.

I know right? A marine can't even call another marine his bro anymore. Meltdown madness. It's the new April tv drama series. Way more exciting than March madness.

After almost 7 months of no motorcycle riding whatsoever due to my detached bicep and healing I rode to work today. Man I missed it. Glad to be getting my strength back in my arm.

So, here's the real question though....

Was the 'phenomemal' experience based on the exclusiveness or risk involved, or was it flavor, texture, and uniqueness of the fish??

When they told us we were going to have Fugu for dinner the danger part never even crossed any or our minds. It wasn't until after that we remembered the danger. I'll have to find the pictures from that night, but the Fugu sashimi tasted unreal. There was also a soup that was really good as well.

This thread always amusing me... I wish I had the bandwidth to read from last unread but damn... 20 pages already again... nah....

Anyway.... I had to lower the crib bed height today... damn he is growing quick...

Also, I am hungry.... but I need to drop weight so I am just being miserable for a while....

Also... It is always cool watching lightning bugs from the porch. I need to find a way to get it on video that doesnt suck.

    Lastly for now.... smash

All this dick swinging made me realize that an Italian Grandma could not make her famous red sauce in North America because in order for it to be proper, it has to be made in Italy.

When I was a kid we had lighting bugs around Dallas every year.
I haven't seen them around here since then.

The last ones I saw were in Oklahoma around Lake Eufalua.
I'd drive through there going to and coming from Big Cabin.
That was probably 10 years ago.

I was very very happy to find out we have them on property a couple months out of the year. I stopped treating my yard as soon as we saw them. Never seen them in TX but have in PA decades ago. Now I go outside and look at them every night.
