Mine goes in for this today, it is just one thing after another with this truck. On the way home I go past GMC and Ford dealerships. I might just put an end to this, i know those have problems too but at least those dealerships are closer to home :transformer:

EDIT: New seat track on order, wonder what will break next while i am waiting for that part to come in :bananadead:

I had mine recently serviced. The assembly pops off the track in some cases so the "fix" is to put a spacer in the track so it can't fully retract. My thigh extender now permanently sits about 1-2 inches out. Won't go back any further. I'm seriously considering removing the "fix" and just letting it be broken.

It is really sad that you would have to do that. I never had any issues like this with my other toyotas. I'm pricing out a Denali now

My SR5 does have that fancy leg crap. Have y’all tried seat jackets from desert does it? Raises the front seat. Game changer in my SR5.

Not trying to raise the seat, this is an extension that rolls out under the knees for long trips. It is extremely comfortable for long drives with the cruise control on. Well that is what it would do if it actually worked lol

Well, just joined the club with my seat extender. 2022 Tundra Platinum. Worked until it didn't (not used much as I didn't know it was there) only 23,000miles.

I purchased my Toyota Sequoia Capstone (Tundra insides) brand new back in April 2023. The leg support originally worked when I drove it out of the showroom, after a month it stopped working. I have been back and forth to my local Toyota dealer that is an hour away, where they tinkered, as well as fully replaced the seat, and the issue still intermittently occurs. The Dealership said Toyota knew it was an issue and has yet to receive a part update from Toyota. After 9 trips in a span of going on 2 years, which technically this is a lemon law issue as it still has yet to work consistently. I have it at a non working state today for the last 6 months because the 1 technician that got it to work more consistently left the company. At this point I just want a refund or reimbursement for all the headache and trips, and whatever this part was worth in my total vehicle pricing as a feature. My view of Toyota quality has gone downhill as a life long Toyota owner of a Sienna and Yaris today, previous owner of a Corolla and Camry.
