I've been on fiber for 15 years now, there is no going back after you get used to those speeds.

 

What speeds do you get?

 

The struggle is real. But our choices are limited in my area so it is what it is.

After reading this I would agree. There have been other days when I'm on tundra's and it seems like there are connectivity problems.

I'm on fiber here in the frozen wastelands of Hoth.

 

I must correct myself. We're not frozen right now. It hit a high of 70 degrees yesterday. Motorcycles were out ripping around, kids were playing in the cul-de-sac, I was sweating my bag off swapping out the tires on the Best Gen and I even saw a couple women in bikinis sunbathing in their front yard while their Traeger rolled smoked in the driveway. It was a beautiful summer-like day.

 

The Klim stuff adds up real quick. I have the Badlands Pro jacket and pants. Almost $2k between those two items. But they are amazing.

 

I was about 11 years old. We were up exploring in the hills back behind our neighborhood. The area was mostly oaks and steep hills with green grass at the time. Lot's of activities occurred back there. BMX jumps, and the high school kids would party at certain spots up there etc. For us kids we would just explore around and try and find cool stuff. Well, one day we hit the jackpot. Found a metal box under a tree full of porno mags (no internet back then). Sitting on top of the mags were two cassette tapes. One was DRI Thrash Zone and one was GNR Appetite for Destruction. I had already heard a song or two from GNR and knew I wasn't into that. So I grabbed a couple mags for further research and the DRI tape. Once I got home, I stashed the mags but that tape was played immediately and I think I sat in my room with that thing on repeat for hours. I could not get enough. And that was the single moment that defined my musical taste.

 

Alladin got banned from the flying carpet world series. He got caught using performance enhancing rugs.

 

Not a clue, I'll try and check it this week.

When I sold my 950 adventure last summer I held on to my klim badlands kit, thinking I might get another bike. But I lost my itch for motor bikes so I sold my jacket and pants on eBay last month. Ended up getting good a chunk of my investment back because those things are worth their weight in gold. Even used. I'm using the money from those to buy all my stereo upgrades.

ps: I love DRI. Do you remember what album it was?

It's set in stone now. I'm moving to San Fran and quitting my job. Can't wait to reap the rewards.
