Brake controller

Anyone know a good reliable brake controller for a 2018 Tundra 4.6L double cab

 

It seems that the Tekonsha P3 is a popular choice here. Also, ESP makes a plate to mount it where the factory brake controller would fit which makes fora clean and convenient install. I had a Tekonsha Primus IQ in my 2015 Ram 1500 and I was happy with it's performance, it also costs less than 1/2 what the P3 does so I guess it depends on how often you're going to tow and what you're willing to spend. I don't think either is a bad choice.

 

I have a new-in-box Tekonsha P3 with Toyota plug-n-play adapter that I'd be happy to sell you. I bought it for my 2014 but sold it before using. My 2015 has the OEM controller so I don't need it.

 

Here are some pictures of mine. I also have the original receipt. I’ll sell it for a good price as it’s been sitting in my garage for some time.
