    Planning to get a spare set of tires soon, so I'm wondering what tire size diameter owners have reported that they will start running into issues?

    ...edited, to include that I will probably be putting these on 17" wheels.

    Current plans:

    • Maintain stock height - no TRD height or anything. Just limited trim height
    • Thinking 17" wheels, ~ 0mm offset, 4.5-5" backspacing, and around 8.5 inches in width.
    • Wrapped in something like 285-290/70-80/R17s.

    I suspect your question will get bumped to the wheels and tire thread https://www.tundras.com/threads/gen-3-2022-wheels-and-tires-photo-thread.101215/ but from what I have seen 34" tire will fit without rub on stock suspension at full turn. Keep in mind also the width. Seen a few post that state 275/65/r20 will fit on stock if that's the rim your running. Best thing is to just go into the wheels and tire thread. Pay mind while looking to see if they have added a lift or not.

    True there's a ton of variables. Wheel type/offset, aggressiveness of tires even if they are the "same size". I just put on 275/65R20 Falken Wildpeak AT4W's on OEM wheels and they fit very well. Oddly on a full right hand turn with some speed, these tires ever so slightly rub the drivers side sway bar. For me on stock OEM wheels, 34" tires are they way to go. Unless you have offset wheels, 35" and larger tires will most likely rub and require trimming, especially on OEM wheels.

    @Crowmag Honestly, I was thinking something something close to stock, or just slightly over the stock diameter (32.5") - for added purposes of comfort, and some off road trekking.

    As it stands, I've decided on the following to keep it safe on fitment and options: 17" wheels, ~ 0mm offset, 4.5-5" backspacing, and around 8.5 inches in width.

    Now for the tires, I could just wrap the wheels in something close to stock size, but I was wondering what the limits were on 3rd gen tundras; by the looks of it it seems like it is the sway bar... guess I'll just have to find out myself. :militarypress:

    @SnowToy stock height for now...

    Maybe Toyo Open County AT3? A little heavier than stock and I've heard they are decently quiet. LT255/80R17
