It's resting on a platform that is directly above the bed supports, not on the bed itself so the weight is pretty evenly distributed. I did have an emergency braking event that shifted the camper forward and totally jacked the headgate.

I left my mount plate for my sway control on my old trailer when I traded it in a couple of months ago. Luckily I can buy a replacement for $20.

Started the sound deadening project. Not gonna go wild. Just roof, floor, doors and back wall with NVX CLD (90mil) and 1/4” dynaliners.
What a process with the roof. Was thinking, i’ll drop the headliner and slide it out the back, easy, right?
WRONG!! Mine being a platinum trim it got all kind of wires glued to the headliner. So i to let it hang at the front and used bungee cords in the back where the clip ares. Then i had to work around it. PITA. 10hrs later and the roof is done and put back.
There are Velcro spaced around the sunroof that “click” in when you lined up the headliner with. Rear are held in by 3 clips. Same clips that hold the door panel onto the door.
Still need to do the floor next. Then doors last.

Just an oil/filter change, oem filter and Mobil 1 5w-30. But like a douche bag I jumped in the truck to close my window and accidentally started it before replacing the oil!!! It ran for like 3-5 seconds. First time I’ve ever done that in 45 or so yrs. of doing oil changes. Hoping all is well, and I’m confident it is, but it will be in the back of my mind for a while. What an ahole I am.

Thanks for the reassurance Hulk. I’m going to the pistol range now so I’ll check the oil pressure before oil change vs. now. I’m confident I’m good to go.

I bought a 2020 SR5 TRD Off-road in Phoenix and drove it back to Virginia. I'm hiding the 6-inch bro lift. That will go soon.

My friend's 80 is missing all of its coolant and quit driving on the highway with his son driving. I am hoping that the engine is OK.
    A VERY nice 80!

Not proud to admit it, but early in my career as a tech, I did an oil change on a '08 Tacoma and in a rush forgot to put oil in. I drove it down to the wash bay, washed the truck then got back in and realized the oil light was on. It probably ran for 8-10 minutes with no oil in it. Told my service manager, and he decided to keep it hush hush from the customer. But I worked on that truck off and on for 4 years, never saw it for an engine issue.

On our first gen Tacoma and my '93 Civic with horizontal mounted oil filters, after draining oil I would start them until oil light came on to get as much oil out of the filter as possible so I wouldn't make such a mess. Still have Civic at 396k Tacoma got wrecked at 250k but still running fine.

Started a bit early this afternoon, only to get a work emergency call right when I got the sonar sensors off...

Luckily that call didn't last all night (very easily could have, and has before) so I got back to it.

It happens. I for some reason bought 6 quarts of oil instead of the usual 8....changed my oil and filter before I realized. Fixed it but dang, I hate that when I do that sort of thing.
