    2024 Tundra Limited TRD w/ 3” Lift
Hello all - I recently purchased a 2024 Tundra Limited with TRD off-road and factory 3” lift. The dealer installed 35s (295x65x20, Toyo Open Country R/T Trail) on the 20” TRD off-road wheels. However, due to inner anti-sway bar rubbing, I had to get 1.25” spacers from Spidertrax, yet, still rub when in doing full lock to the left going straight. I'd assumed that since the TRD wheels are +50mm offset and with the 1.25 inch (-31.75mm) spacers, the adjusted offset should be around +18.25 offset but was surprised that it still rubs on the inner anti-sway bars. I am reaching out for help, to see what wheels / tires / offset combo works for those who have the same 3" factory lift that fit 35s successfully, without any body mount chop / modifications.

After much research, I am thinking of doing either a 0 or +18 (most likely 0 offset at this point) offset Method 305NV 18" wheels with BFG KO2s in 35x12.5x18 tires. Will this work? Any insights or help here would be MUCH appreciated, thanks!

I would see if the TRD Pro sway bars are of the same diameter. I think they are solid and they are smaller than what you have. Might be a cheaper alternative (Unless you really want new rims)

Truck looks great! I’d think the dealership would fix that problem for you being you bought it like that? I had -10 offset on my 21 with 35s and had to do a bunch of chopping. It was annoying and the turn radius went out the door. Ended up trading it in for a stock 24. Though I love the look of 35s and a lift it’s just not practical for me anyway. Hopefully you can figure out the rub issues.

Toyota doesn’t recommend 35” tires on the factory lift. Also going to a 12.5” wide tire will not help with rubbing at all. I agree that if you purchased it that way from the dealer, I would let them sort it.

You could also just remove the swaybar drop that comes with the TRD lift. I'm surprised the dealer put 35s on the TRD wheels as it's pretty well known they will rub.

FWIW, I plan to run 18x9 et0 on 35s once I get the TRD lift kit on. Tire size will be similar to what you mentioned as well.

I would definitely address it with the dealer.

I wonder if a 285/60R20 would work? Just a slightly smaller tire.

18x9 et 0 on 35/12.5/18 still rubs. I had 3" factory lift and swapped over to KING 2.5s, they both rub. When wheeling, ill need to BMC.

I have the same problem, I put max recommended tire size (285/65R20 = 34.6"x11.5") on mine and it rubs going forward.

can you post some pics of the lift, axels, etc? I swore the real TRD 3" lift came with longer axels and toyota said nothing larger than 35".

I'll try and verify that, just have to remember where I saw the fine print.

I have 285/65R20 and rub the swaybar slightly at full lock only when rolling forward. Been that way for 15,000 miles. No issue. Paint isn't even rubbed off the swaybar.

Something doesn’t jive here. I have 285/65r20’s on stock wheels with a fabtech 1.5” level. No rub at all.

I'd stop throwing your own money at it and remove everything you've put on and bring it back to the dealership. Tell them the reason you bought it was because of the lift and 35's. Tell them that after researching the problem you discovered that 35's aren't compatible with the lift. Tell them that the truck cannot be safely driven due to the rubbing. They should either fix the problem or refund you the money you're spending to fix it properly, when they laugh at you call corporate.

Same. Put on 1" spidertrax spacers and that stopped the sway bar rub.

Minute differences in size between tire manufacturers and/or different alignment specs.

Did the spacers cause any fender liner and/or mudflaps rub?

The TRD lift has a sway bar drop, i'm assuming thats whats causing the issue.

I've got 35 (34.9) X 11.5 (11.9) Wildpeak AT4's on mine with the wescott lift and it doesn't rub at all. I did have to swap to Roxblokz mud flaps that was it. +12 offset wheels.

OP I think your still at around +30 offset with the spacers, you might need a new wheelset?

Did you keep the swaybar drop spacers on both setups?

Yes. Removed the flaps and pinned back the carpet in the fender wells

amp research power running boards, method wheels 18x9, toyota dashcam, TRD skid plate, vent shades, bed step, toyota swing storage boxes rear, voodoo blue tundra inserts front and tailgate; Future mods: TRD PRO fender flares, bumper cover, ditch lights, TRD pro Grill, and tail gate lights, light bar upper and lower, Covert front bumper, retrax cover
6x12.8same here my 2024 platinium with the trd 3" lift rubs greatly on the sway bar due to the not only drop but the TRD kit moves it forward about 3-4" that is what is preventing me from going to 37x12.50 BFG KO3's. I have a +25 offset ICON Rebounds (18x9) with GY Wrangler Territory RT tires 325/65R18 (34.6x12.8") and they rub. I tried a Method 18x9 with 0 offset it rubbed worse on the fender liners front and back but not the swaybar that I could remember but I only got one mounted and they checked and rubbed so bad I sold the methods and bought these ICONs with +25 off set. Still rubbing as pics below show, but not on fender felt since removed the one brackets and pinned back liner on both sides, cut mud flaps a little but still there.

trying to find a different drop only like ICON or FOX kits, and or moving back to stock position as I can't understand why it needed to move forward, down 2-3" maybe I could understand, as the suspension dropped roughly 3" for the lift (in respect to the LCA, but it didn't move forward or backward)? even then I don't understand why they didn't just change the links connecting it to the LCA vs moving it forward and down. I haven't checked if anything hits or would hit if moved back. I also like above recommendation of checking out the TRD PRO sway bar is it same just red vs. black or different size. Also the weird shape of the sway bar is bizarre nothing like my side by side or FJ cruiser. Will edit and post picks shortly.
