storage for 2016 Tundra DC w/bench seat

I just picked up a 2016 DC last week. I have been searching for a few months, and although it wasn't the 'perfect' truck, it is in good shape, has a good service history, and the price was right.

That said, it is a bench seat model, and like everything else in life, there are pros & cons. I find that the storage space is lacking, and the design is poor - at least in my opinion. Those that have one can attest - what kind of tissues fit in that 'tissue compartment'? As someone that has allergies, I typically have a box of tissues in my console, but that isn't happening with this setup...

That said, I look at the big, empty space on the floor and think that there has to be a better use of the space. Has anyone found a good aftermarket console that fits well?

In a related note - I would love to find a safe that fits in the bottom of the center seat. I noticed that a company called Lock'er Down made one, but they are no longer in business. Anyone find anything else?

I love my 2016 double cab. For the floor I got this console thing from Auto Zone. I had to trim it a little on the end with the cup holders (I removed the adjustable cup holders and sliced a bit off with a table saw and then slid the cup holders back on.
I have one of those locker down safes, I’m happy with it. Maybe you can find a used one. The other thing I needed to do was make the cup holders in the arm rest smaller.
