my only real experience with American beer was in florida and everythi g I tried besides Ying Ling lager was god awful.
America does a lot of things better then Canada but beer is no one of them.

And that was an old pic. Here's a more recent one, but admittedly not today.

My son’s baseball coach owns the local craft brewery. I drink whatever he brings us to test.

And before anyone give me crap about posting old pics, here's right here, right now. Not as impressive, but you can see i still keep a mix.

** Those Bud Lights were left over from a camping trip in March. I checked and they expire in a couple weeks. Gonna have to have a shotgun party soon....

It’s definitely weird walking by a shelf with heady or lawsons on it and thinking “meh”.

Went on a 10 day vacation in Scotland in 2015. The ales there are indescribably delicious, always on tap and by the pint. Most not bottled for export so I enjoyed them all while we were there.

Here, I live close to Anderson Valley Brewing Company. My favorite from them:

I'm weird with beer. I don't really enjoy them, and they mess with my stomach, but my wife and I constantly go to breweries and I will get a flight. If I go somewhere and someone offers me a beer, I won't turn it down.

Millie’s red rye ale from brick town brewery, Jack Daniel made beer for a short while. Only sold in surrounding area, it was good stuff and was like a 6 point beer. I still have some.

I like a malty amber. A local small brewery in Blanco, TX makes my favorite. Even has a cool name for us boomers .... 8 Track Amber Ale.

    Beer snob here.
I really enjoy all different types of craft beers, except for sours. I don't have the palette for those for some reason. They make me gag every time I taste them.
My go to is actually Coors light. It's the "hydration beer".
Moonraker and Revision are my favorite breweries.
My absolute favorite beer is a DIPA from Moonraker called Electric Lettuce. It's a hazy, and phenomenal. Perfectly balanced.
    electric lettuce.jpg

Revision has a ton of good beers as well but one of their treats is Finite Madness which is an amazing stout.

Pilsner Urquell in any pivnice at the country of birth (of beer). Here in the States the closest I can get is Schilling Brewery (Alexandr, Jakobus, ... ). Czech and German Pilsners they make are all good. Of course, while they are fresh.

Give yourself a few more years of hazy’s. You’ll come around to some sours.

I've tried many sours for at least the last 15 years, maybe a bit longer, and never found one I could handle.
