I run a pallet company in Southern California, and I use my 2005 Tundra as my work truck. I was running it with the OEM bed for 4 months before I decided to build a flatbed on it. There is still a lot that I want to do to it, such as heavy-duty leaf springs, Firestone airbag kit, better rear shocks, and a lift for the front and rear. Ultimately, I want to move the axle back so it is centered under the bed. I feel like this would alleviate a lot of the rear sag so that the weight is balanced rather than mostly behind the rear axle. I know this takes time and money, but it will work and eventually be done. But for now, less weight on the bed to save the current leaf springs.

    Weight reduction, mostly rust.
Super clean simple build, love it, nice work!
Mesh that rack and save your window (you probably already have that planned:thumbsup:)
