Thread and Pitch size for our shifter.

Does anyone know what the size is. As I know.. universal is or could be a broad range. Just looking at some aftermarket shifters. All opinions and suggestions are greatly appreciated

 

Good question! I am also curious what pitch and thread the shifter threads are cause I have found a couple aftermarket shifter handles that I like better than the TRD shifter handle. Any info would be much appreciated.

 

I did some more searching robie, and it seems it's a m8/ 1.25 . Check out andysautosports.com, they have some cool shifters. Hopefully our Senior Residents will chime in.

 

Thank you for the info Rons23, can now narrow down my search for an aftermarket shifter handle, cause my stock shifter has no style, just a big black lump!

 

I used an old Hurst handle and wrapped it in fuzzy tape.. It gets really hot here in Nevada, so this wrap keeps the temp down fast enough to be able to grab the shifter when it's 180+ inside the vehicle.
The handle came with different inserts which worked. 8x1.25 thread
