2002 Sequoia RWD sr5 240K miles. Im sure you know why every sequoia owner posts here, more traffic. And a ton of smart people here.

Anyways I had made a post about my truck billowing smoke out of the tailpipe on the interstate, it was so much smoke you would of thought snoop dog was hanging out in the exhaust system. I pulled over immediately and even with the truck at idle, it was still pouring out. THICK WHITE SMOKE.

All of my fluids look clean and are full

I let my truck take a break for a week, and ran some tests on it. Compression numbers came back good, (spark plugs were pretty ugly, dark black soot, and cylinder3 had oil on the thread side).. I ran a combustion test, the liquid stayed blue, Good!! I checked the power steering valve with a que tip, it was dry, thats good. Same with the vacuum hose on the master cylinder, checked with que tip it was also dry.

After replacing the caked up PCV valve I decided to go for a test drive, I crank the truck up, still to be met with smoke, not as much as original but enough to keep me worried. The smoke now only appears at a cold start up and never again as the engine stays warm.

Well after doing small test drives here and there through the week, it seems like with every cold crank there is less and less smoke. At this rate maybe just maybe, by next week there wont even be any smoke lol (wishful thinking)

Now the weird part is, the smoke starts off blue, it stops for about 5 seconds, the comes out white.

Im at a total loss of what to do next...

@KNABORES reply in your other thread is really the best answer: https://www.tundras.com/threads/tru...tion-test-came-back-good.156639/#post-3885192

I'd stick with your original thread there, not create new ones. Dangerous thing about creating new threads is, simply put, you're robbing anyone reading of the context and actions you've taken, advice you've been from prior comments. Sometimes that historical info, context, and other viewpoints is critical to finding a solution.

I'd just leave it to die on its own. Within the next 24-48 hours it'll end up on the 2nd page and, chances are, nobody will ever see it again.

    Things move pretty fast here.
