Hello everyone new to the forum. I am considering buying a 2022 tundra. I know about the recall but how do I make sure that the truck will get a new engine if the current one fails? I checked the NHTSA with the VIN and it says Recall Incomplete, remedy not available. Can anyone explain this please?

The recall is being done in stages according to build dates. You will be eligible for a new engine when it's your 'stage'.

If its a 22, its getting an engine sooner or later..all non-hybris 22s are. Get it, drive it, get a new engine when the time comes and enjoy. I wouldnt trade my 22. Got a brand new engine @ 37k miles.

I’ll be doing the same soon! Picking up a 2022 Tundra CrewMax SR5 Trd off-road long bed on the 31st. It has a little over 30 000 miles.

I’m getting out of a Ford Ranger Tremor that gave me nothing but transmission problems. I’m on my third transmission and I only put 35 000 miles in three years. I was also looking for a bigger bed and more space for the kids. When I bought my Ranger, my grandpa asked me why I was buying a lunchbox, the 5 foot bed, and not a real box, and I told him it should be enough. He was right lol.
