    Hey y’all,

Had this problem a few weeks ago they shut off while driving. Merged on the interstate yesterday, dash lit up with those lights.

Were on for the entire drive of like 2 hours. Parked the truck, next morning they’re gone.

Called a friend at the dealer (who said I was probably good to drive it, which is why I did) and she said probably a speed sensor. Does that sound correct?

    thanks

Probably need her to connect Techstream to see what the speed sensors are reading. Otherwise she's merely guessing which is about all that can be done without some sort of data.

Well there are at least six speed sensors on your truck, so that's a good play on the odds. There are codes to read that would indicate what needs to be looked at.

4 wheel speed sensors, 1 per wheel and tire that feed a signal to the ABS Ecu. The ECU is throwing the trouble code and generally it does these when it’s not happy with one or more of the wheel speed sensors.

2 speed sensors in the transmission but they are only used by the engine ecu to monitor shaft rotation speed for shifting/transmission control. They are not tired to the ABS System.

Agree, when the dash lights up like crazy again, drive to Toyota and put Techstream on it to read the codes. Careful as somtimes turning the key off can reset the codes.

Also worth checking, a dying battery on its way out will cause all sorts of odd issues and alerts, as the systems don't get full voltage all the time to function as they should. Worth a check especially since your alerts come and go.

True about all the sensors and checking for any codes mentioned above. But quick and easy is checking battery condition and any auto parts store can do a free battery load test.

I am having the same codes on my 2011 tundra. Were you able to find what caused it? My sensors looked fine, not sure what else to look at.

Having the exact same codes. What did y'all do to fix it?

    C1300 - Skid Control ECM
    C1226 - SA2 Solenoid Circuit
    C1225 - SA1 Solenoid Circuit

Out of curiosity I am running 35" tires. Could that be a contributing factor

Yesterday on Halloween I have the exact same thing going on with my 2011. It seems as soon as you get up to about 15 mile an hour when the door is locked the lights come on as well. I cleared the 3 codes One time and now Next time I drove it I got two different codes and these three so far have not come back. I now have a C1310 Active booster solenoid EV and HV System malfunction, and C0278 Open circuit in ABS solenoid

I just had this exact situation come up. Did you find a resolution? I’ve changed 4 wheel sensors and got a new battery. Still no solution. I noticed alternator is running 13.3 volts when idling with headlights and A/C on. Unsure if the alternator is dying and causing electrical issues? Mechanic believes it’s the actual
ABS module which is a $1900 repair
