What exhaust are you running in there? Is that the Magnaflow overland? I want to dump my exhaust under the bed like that, I dislike the stock tailpipe. Are you satisfied with it?

Yup, magnaflow. Very easy and sounds great(just a tad different from stock but enough). You can make it louder if you delete the included resonator but I haven’t tried it. I bought it to tuck away the exhaust not for the sound though.

Have a 24 limited hybrid offroad. Trd lift kit just got done, but it’s definitely sitting dead even or nose high. Nothing in the bed yet besides a gunner kennel, and then a gfc topper in August.

Do any of these coils account for the hybrid variant extra weight? Maybe the 843v is the right move for hybrid trucks?

This thread helped me so much. Thank you again @ram_bow for identifying the spacer. Removing it solved my problem and made a huge difference. I have two quick questions.

I have the Dobinson C59-841VR rear coil springs installed. The rear rake is a little high for my taste unloaded. I’m wondering if the OME 2866 that I still have in the box might be a little lower than the Dobinson. If anyone has those installed I’d love some pics and measurements. TY!

My second question is wondering whether it’s possible to raise the front a bit by changing out the coilover springs in the TRD setup. I’d either like to lower the rear some, or raise the front. The setup is already awesome but I’m just fine tuning now. Thanks all!

Running the Dobinson C59-841V - 2" lift with 0-110lbs added rear end weight for a few months I realized the rear was still too high when not hauling or towing heavy. As daily driver I don’t like the rear jacked that extra 1.5-2”.

I ordered another set of Dobinson’s, the C59-835V - 1" lift with 0-110lbs added rear end weight. I find this a perfect replacement for the OEM coils with the TRD lift kit after spacers are removed.

As daily driver and when hauling medium weight the appearance and ride is much more balanced. I towed my 28’ trailer with it last weekend and it does drop that extra inch vs the 841V, I adjusted my weight balancing hitch and perfect. To sum up, as I’m not hauling heavy or towing regularly, for me the 835V gives a far better and more balanced overall stance (to my preference) than the 841V.

If you tow/haul heavy or have added rear weight w/canopy, rear bumper etc I’d go w/the 2” and added variable weight options. Here are some pics with the new coils. Cheers!

@Taikowaza thank you for the posts. I was wondering if you could share your current rear wheel, ground to wheel well height, unloaded. I have a 2025 Tundra with the TRD lift + Tonneau cover and mine sit at 41.25. I am looking to do the same mod you did and want to keep factory rake. Thanks again!

@Taikowaza lastly, curious if you had to add anything to the top of the coil installing it since you took out the spacer? thanks!

Nothing added after removing the spacer, just the Dobinsons coil. Far superior ride to the stock spring and spacer that comes w/the TRD lift kit.

I'm planning on swapping my rear springs for Dobinsons in the near future, and found this thread really helpful. I have a 2024 with 3" TRD lift from factory. In preparing for the swap, I noticed that the top of my rear coil has no nut where the spacer would have bolted on. Did they just forget to install or does it not need to be there? I haven't gotten below it yet to see if the spacer is there, though I assume it is. Any thoughts?

Great thread! I just purchased a '25 with the TRD lift kit. From my perspective, the truck seems slightly nose high, even if the measurements say it is not. I'm looking to add 1" to the rear. @Taikowaza wondering if you had a chance to measure your rear height after the C59-835V - 1" lift install.

Hi Hdfanatic, I measured the c59-835V 1" height: Rear center wheel cap to bottom of wheel well 24.5”.
My front is 24', giving me a .5" rear rake. I prefer the look and feel this way much more than 2" (and it was even 3+" higher with the spacer on).
I hope this helps. I am a big fan of Dobinsons coils. I like the feel and drivability much more than OME or Bilstein.

The front and rear look perfectly leveled with the camper on. Do you usually run the camper year-round? How is the ride and rear height without the camper?

I'm planning to run my FWC year-round, approx. 1000lb dry weight, and can't decide between the 550-750 or 800-1000 springs..

Not sure if this will help anyone, but I have a '24 Limited with the factory lift. I have a Leer 100xl and the Decked drawer system (full of gear). My rear was sagging so I went with the Dobinsons Coil Springs Pair (Red) - C59-845VR. Installation required the removal of spacers. That gave me about 1" more lift in the rear without additional load. It looks much better now. I had a similar issue with my '15 TRD Pro (with Shell and Decked) and I just added some rear shackles, but I am much happier with the ride from these Dobinsons.
