Very first thing I did after auto stop defeater was level & new tires. Wife thought I was crazy to buy new tires for a new truck!
We got to know the UPS driver so well, she invited us over for Thanksgiving & Christmas! Truth!:rofl::thumbsup:

As a former Taco owner I feel your pain. But in truth the Tundra is just a better "family" vehicle as much as it pains me to say. Congratulations!

I sold my 2021 Tacoma to get a 2025 Tundra. I don't really miss the Taco as I had a few full size half tons before I got it. The Taco was fun for zipping around town but the ride was rough and had a noisy interior. The Tundra ride is waaaayyyy more comfortable and I can transport passengers in the back with no one complaining lol

From a former taco owner I find it helps if you just think of your Tundra as a Tacoma on steroids!:)

I learned a long time ago not to keep my last truck.
If it's heavily modded for off road use I could see keeping the old to save the new from a beating.
What ended up happening with me is I never drove the old truck and it just sat in the garage.
I got my first Tundra as a tow rig for the boat, camper and SxS trailer.
The Tundra looks like a parking lot queen these days and I'm in the process of getting the Magnuson installed.
Going to beat on the SxS since It's easy to drag home and cheaper to repair.

    Nice!!
I miss my FJ at times.
It was a 2007 the year after they first came out if I remember correctly.
It came with the rear locker and would go damn near anywhere you pointed it!!!

Welcome from TN! I made the same swap, I’ve lost family members that didn’t make me as sad as leaving my 2017 Taco behind. I miss parking the Taco and I’m now sized out of some of the tighter trails I used to do, but the space, power, smoothness, quiet cabin, etc., make the Tundra a lot of fun to drive.

especially on these nice spring days with the sunroof and rear window rolled down

and 2 kids and a dog are way more comfortable on road trips vs cramming in like sardines in the small Taco backseat.

Feel your pain. Tacomas got me to love Toyota. A 2002 that I had for 14 years. Traded it in like an idiot…should have sold it. Got a 15 Tacoma…loved that truck. Got totaled out by hail. Took that money for my 24 Tundra…11K on her now…Lovin it so far.

Actually bought the rig up in Springfield. Made me a better deal than any of my local dealers, and just a short 3 hour drive.

I saw the title of your post and thought you were waiting for engine to blow and it did
Happy to see that isn’t the case.
    Welcome to the club!
Started with Tacomas, went back only once and realized Tundra was where I should be.
    Won’t be going back…
