Anybody installed an aftermarket alarm like Compustar or Viper?

Never again, that viper was nothing but problems. Couple times I've had to drive home with the damn alarm going off.

I installed a Viper in my 2005 tundra. It was the most frustrating install I've ever done. There was limited and sketchy (wrong) information posted online. I had to pull the dash apart 4 times before I got the the wiring correct. Once I found the magic formula, however, the alarm was reliable and never gave me any issues over the next 10 years.
