    Hello all,

I am a brand new Tundra and truck owner! I went with the 2025 crew max limited (5.5 ft bed) since it came with so many upgrades that I felt enhance the driving experience. Before seeing the Limited model, I previewed the SR 5 model, and the Limited’s options did it for me. My wife and I wanted a half-ton truck because we camp often and have a young child, so we needed more space, and something that could haul our future trailer (whenever that happens). It won’t wrack up a bunch of milers either from daily commuting since we both live close to our jobs.

I took advantage of Toyota’s special financing package offered through March. It was the first dealership I stopped by in my truck buying journey, and I didn’t look back! In addition to their customer service (at least out here), rarely I hear people complain about their Toyota products which was a big sale for me from the get go.

I switched from a Honda CRV to this big boy, and it’s been fun changing driving habits, learning the sensitivity of the gas and brakes, seeing how other people drive around you, and adjusting to updated technology.

I joined this forum from the advice of my neighbor who is an avid Toyota, and in general, truck lover, to get ideas on what is worth modifying, how people troubleshoot their Tundra, and ogle over other peoples’ trucks!

Right now I am looking at hard shell tonneau covers and electronic runner boards.

    Cheers,
    Ryan

Thanks RainMan! You are correct. I have lived in the area most my life. I figured a Tundra would handle our forest service roads with ease, among other things.
