New to the group, thanks for the approval. I wanted to add the issue with my 2025 tundra. Trailer backup guide malfunction error popped up randomly. 2 weeks into my ownership, haven't hooked a trailer to it. Per my research I guess the cameras need recalibration. I'm 2 hrs into my service trip to the dealership. I will follow up with more information when the tech is done with it.

I have a 2024 tundra SR5 10,000 miles. I experienced a backup trailer guide malfunction around 8000 miles. Dealer was unable to resolve with recalibration. Same thing with a few other tundras at the dealer that have displayed the same warning. They told me I will need to wait on a software update from toyota that will be uploaded through Bluetooth from my phone. The timeline is still unknown but they hope in the next 1-2 months. The warning on the dash is annoying because you can't clear it. I've been a little disappointed in the reliability of this product as my gas guage has also malfunctioned twice already.

Too much random BS going on with some of these trucks, while the majority is all OK, it's just strange it happens on some to the extreme.

Agreed. At this rate, I'm probably going to purchase the extended warranty. I've never felt it was necessary on any of my vehicles until now.

Same here. I never bought an extended warranty until my '23 Tundra. It will likely be money well spent, the way things are going so far.
