Looking for opinions on your trifold hard covers and where you got them. Looking for best bang for buck! I have a 2023 SR5 TRD Sport Crewcab Max.

I've been happy with the BakFlip MX4 from RealTruck. Reasonably priced, easy install, retains the factory tie-down rail, decent sturdiness, and doesn't conflict with opening and closing of the tailgate.

There are probably more expensive options that are better quality, but the BakFlip serves my purposes well.

I run the OEM Toyota Tonneau and have been extremely happy with it.

Been running a Bakflip MX4 for 2 years and very happy with it.
They have since changed the design and mounting method, so I can't speak to that but I have heard people express displeasure at the change.

Our 2025 came with the Toyota tri-fold and everything that I have read says it is a Bakflip MX4. However, the mounts by the cab are different. Instead of having the twist on hand screws on each side, there are 2 pins on each side and it has washers with nuts as well as c-pins that go through the bottom of the screw pin. It has the Toyota label and everything seems to be the same as the Bakflip, but this part is different. I watched a Youtube video of a Toyota tri-fold install and it is not like mine either. I assume all of the Bakflip replacement parts (seals and such) would be interchangeable. Anyone else notice this difference or "have this" difference?

    Thanks.

Thank you all! I ended up with the Rough Country. Ordered it through Amazon to have it delivered into my garage and it was on sale there too. Jeromy6 & SD Surfer y’all’s post really helped too with that info on the changes. I didn’t want to go buy more stuff. I did get a quote from Toyota, it was nearly $1,500 for theirs (Backflip). That was them installing it. The Backflip MX4 was $1,400. Rough Country was half the price and both had the same reviews on quality and install.
I did install it myself and the instructions suck. But it wasn’t bad or hard difficult to install. I was able to keep my original bed rails installed. You will need to buy a 5/8 Drill Bit, if you don’t have one.
Only recommendation I might have after installing the Rough Country is the sticky foam mount tape that came with it, was thin and about 2” to short. It didn’t go the whole length of the back bed wall. But recommend buying a thicker one that you can cut to length. I did attach a photo of the tape that came with it.
Again, thank you for everyone’s recommendations!

That is really nice. I would consider that as a replacement in the future. I have been building four-wheel drive vehicles for many years, but I have never used RC products because some people complain about the quality. However, I have installed RC suspension lifts on newer model Wranglers and the fitment and ease of install was perfect and they performed well off-road. Since we bought the Tundra I started looking into RC because they have a lot to offer. I was really on the fence between their side steps listed for 399 and the Go Rhino RB20 for 579, I ended up with Go Rhino, but I think I would have been just as happy with the RC boards. I have purchased a few RC products for the Tundra and I would highly recommend the Neoprene Seat Covers, way cheaper than Wetokole and probably just as good, also the rear inner fender liners fit perfectly and were only 99 bucks. FYI-for anyone installing the RC rear fender liners, keep the OE upper snap pins because the ones provided are too small. I like how the rear corners are rounded and not just cut off rubber strip like the Toyota version or Bakflip or whatever it is...it looks much cleaner that way.
