I just picked up a new 2025 sequoia Trd Pro this afternoon after leaving the dealership we got on the turnpike and the wind noise was so bad you could hardly hear yourself think. When I noticed it the service department was already closed. Sounds like the sun roof is open but it’s not. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? It has the Trd roof rack and I was wondering if that was the problem.

Is there a fix for it? Besides the obvious taking it off. I will be taking it back to the dealer next week I will see what they say hopefully they can do something about or they are getting this car back.

Not to my knowledge. Some of them came with this lip spoiler on the bottom in the front. Not sure if that makes a difference or not, mine does not have one. Topview.jpg

My 2023 has the stock roof racks. Noisy from day 1. A friend of mine that works at Toyota told me it is the weld seam for the roof. The sizes are all different because quality control is not there on the new way of doing it. Some trucks/Sequoia's are worse than others, but you can test it by taping (blue painters tape) over the front of the right and left side drains where the rubber boot touches the roof (drain). They used to use a rubber seal on the roofs of Tundra/Sequoia's. Your issue may be different as the mount looks a little different from the photo, but can't see the front attachment.

I did take the useless basket thing off of the back of it and it seemed to have quieted down a bit.

I had the same problem on my 5k round trip.
I've cheked with my dealership and it takes 2 hours labor ($175.00)to remove the roof rack, if you want it.

2 hours, lol. It's literally 8 bolts, it would probably take 5 mins with the help of a friend to lift it off.
