Bilstein 5100s with 34s - 2024 Tundra

Just put on front and rear Bilstein 5100s (1.8 inch- setting 4 in front) to level my truck.

Toyo AT3 285/75/17 (34s)

Wanted to post because couldn’t find many with this set up when I researched.

I just decided to hold off for a bit on a 2”/1” Dobinsons lift with 285/70-18s and this is the worst thing I could have seen. Haha.

 

Just curious of the offset. And hows the ride?

How’s the ride vs the stock off road shocks? I have the sport and am contemplating the 5100s (Bilstein says they won’t “work”, but all shops have said they’ll just sit lower than advertised by like 1/4 in) but I’m unsure if there’s much difference ride wise?

Nice. I, too, am interested in your thoughts on any ride differences from the stock shocks.

I haven't been impressed with the factory shocks on washboarded dirt roads, so I've been considering the 5100s myself.

 

No offset.

Toyos are load C.

So far I’m loving the ride, but it’s only been one day. Not feeling a lot bumps and potholes on the road, but I also went from 20inch wheels to 17inch. I’ll give an update once I hit some mud, snow and gravel soon.

I think 35s with a 3 inch full suspension lift would look and feel the best, but I was just trying to find a middle of the road solution since it’s a family truck used a lot for road trips and sporting events.

Really like the stance of your truck and cool that you get a more aggressive look without the 3" factory lift and a hell of a lot cheaper.

I've been looking at Tundra's again and nice to know something like this set up looks good instead of 3" factory lift. Plus loading a dirt bike in bed would be much easier.

 

Thanks! I just ordered the same size but Falken/Method combo. I’ll post when it’s done. Here’s how it sits for now.

 

Getting them mounted right now but here’s the setup with Toyo AT 3 in the 285/75/17. These were $200 cheaper than Falken and ~9lbs lighter so it felt like a no brainer.

 

Done! I love it.
