If you do will the pistol still fit in your holsters?
    I say do it..

If you do will that cause any fitment issues with your holsters?

Oh it will definitely cause fitment issues. New holster time.

Found this SA-35 for a good deal, picked it up from my FFL on Friday and I think I'm going to like it. Probably going to change the grips, maybe cocobolo or something lighter in color.

Finished my URGI clone correct upper (DD 14.5 mid-length barrel). I'm done cloning unless I decide to do a FBI HRT setup.

I deleted my post, I looked it up. The picture makes it look like the barrel is longer than the 5 inch's to me????Mmm

The more I see that pistol the more I want to purchase one! That is a good looking pistol!:)

New carry blaster, Glock 43X COA.

Zero’d at 15 yards with Speer 124gr Gold Dot +P.

Stock trigger is strait up ass, and has been replaced with a Johnny Glock 4311 trigger.

Also running Shield Arms S3 Gen3 15 round magazines and their magazine release. 100% reliable so far.

    IMG_0712.jpg IMG_0710.jpg

It can easily hold the head box on steel at 25 yards even with an ass trigger.

Bought a new Browning Buck Mark last week at Scheels. My wife has been asking for one of these since shooting my SIL's a couple of years ago. Lots of fun to shoot.

Finally bought a Garmin XERO C1 and hit the range with some reloads in 6.5CM to run through the AI AT-X.

All 130gr ELD-M this go around. Lapua brass. CCI BR primers. Reloder 16 powder. Ran 5 rounds of each in .5gr increments from a starting load of 42.5gr to 44.5gr.

Nice low standard deviations on everything aside from 43.5gr load which gave an SD of just over 13 feet per second. Granted it was a small sample size, so the data isn’t statistically significant. Everything else was running an SD of 5.6 to 9.3 feet per second. Velocities tracked with the book values from 2860fps average up to 3009fps. No pressure signs on any brass or primers, easy bolt lift, normal extraction effort.

This rifle has a factory barrel supplied by Bartlein, and it is not particularly load sensitive.

    IMG_0758.jpg

Largest 5 shot group was .558” and the smallest was .400” at 100 yards. Frankly shooter induced error can easily account for any differences.

Yeah just doing initial load development so I can then start building a drop chart to plug into a ballistics program.

I’ve played around out to 840 yards on steel, really still kind of a chip shot even out there if I do my murder math correctly and hold up my end of the bargain as a shooter.
