Contemplating splitting the drive there by heading out Tuesday night to a friends house in AZ then driving to Sedona in the morning or just a straight 8hr shot Wednesday morning.

Anyone in AZ know if the 40 has been resurfaced/repaired? Thats where Cruz lost a wheel. Potholes craters last I drove it

    8 hours ain't bad.
But I'm psychotic, so I'll be working a 12 overnight, immediately driving 12ish hours to Amarillo from Houston, beating Beau at Golden Eye for a few hours, maybe sleeping a little, probably not, then it's like another 8 or so hours from there the next morning.

I believe it's the remastered version on Xbox. But it's pretty pure to the N64, just runs better and smoother graphics

If anyone is interested, there are two diff't sets of floor mats on fleaBay right now.

One for a DC / X-SP in grey, which if you add to your watch list, they'll kick you an offer (I added so I remember to post here, and just got an offer for 21% off, i.e. $75): https://www.ebay.com/itm/297127699937
Another for the AC at super-gougey pricing, but they're NOS, medium grey, but only the fronts for $265 OBO (guess it's $130/piece? no thanks!): https://www.ebay.com/itm/276958608582

i was forced to take 10 years of piano lessons. Hated every minute of it, but I’m so thankful for it. I taught myself guitar, bass, drums from that experience. I can literally sit down and learn damn near anything by ear and I’m not fudging through it, but REALLY playing. My kids will go through the same so it sticks with them for life.

In other news I found the culprit of this front end shake. Thought it was my cam eliminator plates sliding around, but they’re now welded in. Thinking it’s a stuck caliper with the heat it’s putting off and if it’s not then I’ll get the wheel bearing and hub swapped out after.

It does that with certain things. It's why we don't type Amazon or Ebay out.

You know, it dawned on me with a comment you made the other day, you've got more than your more-recent arrival. I noticed it about a week after you posted about the new arrival, after giving you the 5th degree on 'being a new dad'

Ah well, fuck it. But yeah, my kids are finally, FINALLY, getting to the point where they understand being a parent isn't about giving in to whatever the kids want to do. It's about pushing them to do things that will be better for them in the long run. I think most of us to give our kids the stuff we didn't have, and make it easier for them in all the ways we couldn't, but it's a balance, and the cost of not pushing them is ineptitude. I ultimately think this is where the Boomer generation failed miserably, falling flat on their face, and the issue has been snowballing ever since.

Smashed into concrete center highway divider going 35mph. Damage minimal. Snapped headlight/fog/blinker housing mounts. Bent steel on hood and fender. These trucks are built like tanks.

Wet snow and ice at 4AM is dangerous. Was fishtailing at the smallest bump on the gas. Tapping the brake would cause more sliding and loss of control.

Got pretty lucky today. Turns out a couple bolts were loose on exhaust. Check engine light po420 code turned off. Sweet!IMG_0558.jpgand sometimes, it’s not often but it does happen, I do something smart. Actuator hose had a tear and kept falling off and all of a sudden, out of nowhere I brilliantly realized I had enough slake to simply cut the end off. IMG_0559.jpg
