Alright as of now, it's been a week since the LF (pass.) window motor stopped working with either switch. I pulled the door panel, did a quick search of the forums on any tips or tricks to be aware of, then checked for 12VDC at the switch, in and out, took the connector to the motor apart, checked for voltage on either wire. It uses 2 wires to the motor, one is 12VDC depending on which way you move the switch. No problem with power or wire, so with 12VDC to the motor, it bit the bullet. Ordered a new one, hooked the 2 wire harness up to it and started the truck, no go! Glad I didn't just go ahead and install it. Ran a ground wire from the motor incase it was wanting it. Has power at the harness just doesn't work. Yes, always a possibility the new motor is bad.
Could use some suggestions. I been doing this kind of work for many years, power and ground the motor should run!

It looks like everything is grounded thu the master switch.
Are you sure the window lock is not engaged?
The window lock unlocked is what grounds the pass side window motor.
When it is locked, it gets no ground.
The switches ground the circuit to make the motors move.

Thank you so much, that's a huge help. Start again in the morning, I'll post back, also, yes the switch lock is off. i was looking at wiring diagram, it could be the ground is weak in the switch not allowing enough current to flow and still show 12VDC at the motor.

******update: Found loose contact on lock switch, I used to make these connectors up for work it was an easy fix. Thanks again for the wiring diagram.

EDIT....LOL, just saw your edit from a little bit ago while I was composing post. I'm a slow motor scooter

Given your backgrnd you mentioned, this may go with out saying but by back probing the proper pins, checking the resistance of the switch in different positions should answer that.

For example(key in off pos or out)....with door panel still off and with motor unplugged, check UP contact in it's normally closed position....place one meter lead on motor harness pin 1(light grn) and back probe pin 5(red/blk), do you show a dead short ?

Check DOWN contact in it's normally closed position....place one meter lead on motor harness pin 2(blue/yellow) and back probe pin 2(red/grn), do you show dead short.

You can also make sure ground from master switch is good with pass window switch unplugged....pin 5(red/blk) to body gnd should be dead short, as should pin 2(red/grn) to body gnd.

    Glad you got it working.

It is nice that the older manuals spell out how the circuit works.
    Take care...

The diagram showing how the ground was switched is what lead me to the switch. Its working and I got to return the new motor, I stripped the old one down, cleaned it up should be good for another 273,000! Thanks guys for all the help.
