The rubber seals you added inside tailgate. How are they performing? Still have water getting in?

so sorry to hear about the motor - a real kick to the teeth after the struggle with the bumper.... hopefully they get it swapped out and you enjoy a few extra ponies and smoother motor.... I was tolking with a guy at the dealer local to me yesterday who has 2k on his replacement and he's loving the new motor and improved tuning /smoothness.

s.jpg Installed the LoMax Professional series tonneau cover last night. My SIL is coming over to help me do the final adjustments but I installed it in about an hour.

I have a 1.5" level on the front. The specs purport that you can install up to a 37" tire without a lift, but the kit requires you to cut the frame and weld on a new piece in order to accomplish that.

I have the Lomax Tri Fold and it does not let any water in even with the touchless car washes.

took me 30 mins because I couldnt get my damn shift knob off. Fishing the harness down/around the headunit was easy, it just drops down and out the bottom. Everything snaps into place like stock. Oh, and I also had one of those red clips go awol on me when I was taking it off the oem charger...found it under the truck somehow. Im still keeping my ICS mount on the dash, but this will be nice at night when I dont want a bright screen blinding me.

Ajt designs has a nice video on removing the shifter knob, seems simple enough. I can see how it could be a pain if you dont know about the little piece to push over.

I might order that knob, their knobs are built so well, this would be a good compliment to match the radio and drive mode knobs.

Didnt know this existed, seems like a worthy upgrade, especially when carry passengers with charging needs

That's what I was following out my pocket screwdriver was too big. Ended up using my spare pocket knife I found in the console.

I like the knob but am afraid it might get too hot in SoCal summers

4 holes for the pivot bracket in the aluminum bulkhead next to the tail light.
4 holes for the latch in the FRP up by the wheelwell.
About an hour start to finish. A little tough to access the back side of the holes to install the bolt plate brackets and you have to be careful when removing the tail light.
    Otherwise, pretty straight forward job.

Well, 2 out of 3 but only if you consider 1992 old school.

    The short version:
'92 GMC Jimmy 2 door, 2WD. (Remember the Typhoon? SUV version of the Syclone pickup? Same body.)

Custom frame from the firewall on back, new floor, recessed firewall. Engine setback 8". Coil overs, C6 brakes, C6 Grand Sport wheels 19x10F and 20x12R.
I have a low mile L33 (All aluminum 5.3L truck "LS" motor) that's going to get a mild refresh and twin Wuhan whirly boys. Have most of the hardware.
Still need to settle on engine management.
And replace the LT1 style T56 that's in there for mockup with a Tremec T56 Magnum.
Rear axle is a narrowed Strange 12 bolt originally from a 4th gen. F-body.
Rear suspension is 2 link with torque arm and a watts link.

Still needs a lot of work.
I might finish it before I'm dead.

That’s a pretty quick install! I was assuming it was gonna be at least a 4 beer install, lol. Looks good. I might tackle this one
