How to tell left from right springs?

I just purchased a new set of stock springs and the part number tags have fallen off. How do you tell the left from the right spring?

 

They should have some colored paint dots, you should be able to search the colors and find which is passenger and which is driver.

Here I had the TRD Sport shocks and the passenger is gray and yellow.

 

That's what I thought, but the dealership parts guy didn't know how to tell the difference.

 

One of my springs has Grey and Yellow dots and the other has Blue and Orange, so I assume the one with the Grey and Yellow goes on the right side(passenger side)?
