I have a 2017 Tundra, when trying to start no clicking noise like starter just acts like its started but then stops. Starts on 3rd time smell of fuel and combustion. Would like any help, also no engine light on either.

    Need a lot more info:
    how many miles?
after it does start, how does it run
Any engine related mods?- intake, tune, etc?
is truck up to date on maintenance? Has any recent maintenance been performed?
Is this a gas or flex fuel truck?
Have you scanned for any stored codes?

Any chance injectors are leaking? And flooding the combustion chamber.

On my 2016, similar starting issue but the connectors to the alternator were loose. No issues since repairing the connector block. I changed the spark plugs and coil packs prior to the issue appearing. Battery was also new but drained over time due to lack of sufficient charging.

Check battery voltage engine off. Then check voltage once it's running. Either post the numbers here, or search online for yourself of what you should be seeing.

If that's not something you are comfortable doing, then you should bring it to a shop.

Figure out which injector is leaking. You will need to pull all sparks.
Any chance a spark plug is dead?
