Leveling kit...fender flares..soon wheels and tires
Ok..so here us my problem. On Christmas eve I was hit on the driver's side of my Tundra. Took the majority of the impact on the front rim and tire and then down the whole side. The truck was professionally repaired. I had the truck back for a week and all the idiot lights illuminated. The truck went back to the shop and was diagnosed with a faulty wheel sensor and knock sensor bank 2. The wheel sensor is being covered under the accident...but not the knock sensor repair. MY truck just turned 100,000 miles...is meticulously maintained. It just seems fishy this happened after the accident. I guess I'm asking for any insight...both locations are on the driver's side.

Wires break, sensors are just that most of the time, sensitive to impacts as well...I'd keep trying to speak with the insurance on this or perhaps have them install it and you buy it...try negotiating and perhaps you get a little closer to a repair/sensor swap...or, bite it off and knock it our yourself...it is peculiar on the location on the truck after the collision, but it is certainly something an insurer will always try to push back on...they can sometimes be known as a wear item...
