    Hello,
New member here. Working on a buddy’s 2011 tundra 5.7. The truck was in limp mode with the following codes.
    P2433 P0304 P0171 P0174 P0101 P0102 P0113.
He was told it was a problem with secondary air pumps. So we replaced them and reset codes. Still in limp mode but now only P2433 code. Also noticed no power to the air pumps. Next we replaced the secondary air valves under the intake. Truck ran fine and went out of limp mode. Now after sitting for hours and cold the check engine light came back on. New codes
P2445 P2447 P0303. I am lost at this point. Please help if possible.
    Thanks Brian

I had that issue with my 4.6 L. For the price of one valve, I decided to buy the Hewitt bypass system. That was 1.5 years ago. No issues, no lights on dash since. Also, it might just be me but the truck seems to run smoother and slightly better fuel economy.

Thanks. I have already spent the money and replaced both pumps and the valves also did the plastic tubes to be sure. Now I think I am getting a code for bank 2 pump stuck off. I just looked up in search section and my aftermarket pump might not be blowing enough volume. I am going to switch them and see if it changes to bank 1 then I will know. It seem to be a hard system to “diagnose”

I agree with you. I did a lot of research into it before I bought the Hewitt system, glad I did. We no longer need to worry about emissions or I would have had to do what your doing. Good luck. Hope all works out for you.
