So my Rugged Treks were worn out. I bought new ones from America’s Tire, stupidly not remembering that the TRD Pro package on the 1794 changes wheel size to 18” — and their website stupidly thought all 1794s are carrying 20” rims. Tires arrived and mid install they realized it’s the wrong size. I didn’t have time to wait for a new shipment, much less give up another afternoon of my life. They had AT2s in stock though so I went with those.

Curious what yall think of the AT2. I have a thirty day return window if I don’t like them and find I really need to have the Ruggeds. These are noticeably cheaper, leaving me wondering what I’m giving up with the AT2s other than the aggressive look. They do seem to run a LOT quieter and smoother. I need good rain traction, snow, and off road. I know some people think the Ruggeds aren’t great on wet roads - that was never my experience. My off road adventures are primarily fairly rough and bumpy dirt and rocky roads, not rock crawling, sand, etc.
