    Hello All,

I am about to upgrade my 2021 SR5 halogen headlights to OEM TRD Pro LEDs and want to upgrade my fog lights also. The entire OEM halogen light set up leaves much to be desired.

I have read on this forum that unlike the OEM LED headlights, the OEM LED fog lights aren't that great. So I don't want to pay premium prices for an inferior product. Does anybody have any suggestions/recommendations? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I was looking at possibly purchasing these:

Toyota Tundra (14-21) XB Evo+ LED Fog Lights

    Welcome to the forum.

From my experience, I wouldn't purchase anything from Headlight Revolution.
I had warranty issues with some of their LED bulbs.

That stated, I would look to @memario1214 and Hotshot Offroad
Colton is a forum vendor and regular here.
He has been very helpful to many of us, including myself.

    Good luck..

Thanks for the shout out @1lowlife :fistbump::fistbump:

@NJTundraGuy the new XB Evos are kind of cool in that they have that dual-color feature. They're not going to have the same peak intensity of something like the Diode Dynamics Elite series, but they are still going to outperform OEM. If you want to be "wowed", you're still going to want to get something like a Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro/Max or the Morimoto 4Banger HXB. If you want an OEM looking pod though, the new Evos aren't bad.

Happy to help get you set up with them too over here at Hotshot Offroad.

Thank you for the recommendation @1lowlife and the suggestions @memario1214!

@memario1214, I like to be wowed. Which do you recommend of the two? They both appear to be SAE compliant. Can I just uninstall my factory fog lights and swap them out with these or do they require additional harness because I have halogen as opposed to an upgrade from factory LEDs. If they are plug and play you've got yourself a new customer. I'll happily buy a pair from your shop.

@NJTundraGuy you will likely need an H11 to DT adapter to connect your stock harness to the new light, but @memario1214 carries those as well and that is super simple.

Of the two (assuming you're referring to the "wow" options of the SS3 Pro/Max or Morimoto HXB) I am a fan of the Diode Dynamics SS3 max. It has the greatest width, has better uplight control than the SS3 pro, and can be had with a backlight for a little bit extra "cool" factor when you hook up the backlight. The Morimoto 4Bangers are good, but don't quite have the width. If you're looking for less of a SAE light, and want something more "offroady", but still street legal, then the Morimoto 4Banger or DD SS3 pro are the ticket.

Hope all of that made sense!
