Hey everyone, I am new to the forum and couldn’t find a thread dedicated to this. I was wondering if anyone had installed this kit and what they thought of it. Is it worth the hefty $1k price tag?

This seems to be the perfect solution for me. Trying to rig up a few accessories via the Garmin PowerSwitch then run to my Anderson Plug that goes to my dc to dc charger on my camper. Really don’t like the idea of trying to route to the battery under the seat.

    Any thoughts are appreciated.

    Thanks

How does that kit work exactly? It's not very descriptive on the site.

In essence, moves the battery terminals back under the hood to sit right above the master cylinder.

So does this kit get the battery from under the seat and relocate it so we could have under seat storage?

Just wondering if anyone has updates on this? Has anyone ran a power tray setup with this as well?

I did end up putting in the SDHQ Power Solution kit, and I am super grateful I did. It made all my wiring much cleaner and kept me from punching holes into the grommets to get under the battery in the cab. That being said it is a little nerve-racking taking a hole saw to your $60k truck. I replicated Blaze Offroad's example and mounted a ground bus bar to the top of the SDHQ plate and the Garmin Power Switch on the front. You could mount a fuse power tray on the front I'm sure if that works better for you. IMO the Garmin Power Switch is well worth it though because you can control everything with the stock head unit. Let me know if you have any other questions.

How hard was it to install this ? I’m thinking of doing the same except I have a switchpro.
