Been a couple months since any updates in this thread, but has anyone compiled a 100% complete parts list for swapping from an OEM Tundra to an OEM Sequoia front end with the TRD Pro grill? I see the lists, but it seems like this thread is a mess of sorts with questions about things missing, do I need this or that, etc. Just curious if anyone has a master list? Want to start getting parts ordered! Thanks!

Wish I had a better pic of the whole front but this is what mine turned out as. This project definitely takes some patience and you’ll have to pull your grill completely apart reconfigure the wiring harness route. You will also need a camera relocation bracket.

It’s a bummer that Adventure motor sports is so horrible but it’s a doable project. Get the parts list of this thread and make sure you order the bumper support bracket….I think the part number is in one of my previous messages.

Also be careful when removing the active grill shutters, the bolt/nut configuration is a bad design and it’s really easy the dislodge the nut from its housing.

Well, i'm interested. Seems the consensus was that it's a bit of a hassle but doable. Does anyone know if the cost of the parts is still $900 unpainted? Doesn't look like anyone sells the kit anymore.

**I totaled out the parts on an OEM website and it came out to just about $1900 unpainted.

After everything. What’s the complete cost and time to do this?

MAN, that looks SO much better than the stock version. For reference, I paid $863 for a color matched grill surround and spent the better part of 4 hours replacing it. Had to take off the entire front bumper. At $200/hour, that's another $800, so theoretically around $1600 for a color matched grill surround.

$2500 isn't that far out of the ballpark. It is a real investment, though.

What are you replacing it with Matt?
Don't go, you can also post up every once and awhile. You wouldn't be the only one without a Tundra on here.

 I can stick around if you care to see what I do with this super duty.

Tundra developed an oil leak right before a cross country trip and I got angry and bought this. Then Toyota says “not a leak, excess assembly lube”. Let the tundra go for less than I hoped to, but this new truck is going to cost me a small fortune til I got rid of that. Big plans with High Country Performance 4x4 in Denver for this truck. Meanwhile, the ford needs bearings in the diff, right off the lot :(

This is an ironic comment to put in a thread that is literally dedicated to those who think the 3rd gen tundra front end is so bad it needs to be changed.

I love the wrap, but I don't think I would have the balls to pull that off. My ocd would have me scrubbing it every day lol.
