For those that carry: is capacity a major factor in what you carry?

Carry whatever you are comfortable with carrying. Anything is better than nothing.

It's hot down here. I carried a .32 Keltec for years until it got too rusty from swampass. I upgraded now to a .380 Ruger. If the clothing or activity allows for it I have a .38 or .357 revolver that I occasionally carry.

All my friends "carry" big retarded guns, but they always seem to never have it with them if I ask them.

 

I'm totally comfortable with 5 or 6 shots from my wheel guns. They pack a punch, and they're small and light, and that means I'm more likely to carry them. Even if I'm out in the woods, but I'll just take one that starts with a .4

 

Picked up one of these last month. I am getting used to it. Right now I have my Walther P99c in it. I got tired of pocket carry and I really don't like IWB. Maybe I could get used it to IWB if I had the correct holster. Sometimes I carry my little LCP in it.

Bad thing is, it is very possible that you forget about it and go into places where you should not be with a gun. Like a bank, or a hospital. It's a hypothetical guys. I was just saying it is possible to do. Nothing happened.

 

It is illegal to carry into a bank in this state. It is on the prohibited list.

And I'll refrain from making comments on skinny jeans. I don't wear skinny jeans.

 

You might be correct. I just downloaded the concealed carry laws. They have been re-written because we are now constitutional carry. Anyone that can legally own a pistol can concealed carry I'm still going to have my license because of the reciprocity when I travel. I think it is 37 states. Here's the map.

Purposeful people get job done with a sawed off double barrel 12 gauge. Two rounds is all they need.

Since I’m restricted to 10 rounds here, in the cooler weather I carry a .45 as it’s easier to conceal with a flannel. With summer around the corner I just bought a Sig 365 in 9mm to throw in a pair of shorts.

I would have wondered the same thing. However, I now have it on good authority that the word "political" is "subjective" and thus, I guess, might mean just about anything. It's always good to know how things work.

Mag limits make revolvers and single stacks more attractive. I may get into carrying the new-to-me Walther PPQ with its 13 round capacity but I just love that little Kahr CW 45. Seven rounds of .45 ACP isn't bad in my mind.

 

When I worked night audit in a local Stop & Rob, I carried a New York Reload with the "Reload" in a Desantis(?) Ankle Glove.

Is this your primary carry? That's fine if it is, "you do you," but few recommend ankle for anything but backup.

In WV, gun ban signs have no legal authority, not for concealed carry. Further, the old "no pat down and no metal detector" rule actually works 100% almost all the time. In Minecraft of course.
