Is there a way to set the V to V setting without having to set it again the next time I use the cruise? I don’t like the default setting.

It’s annoying to deal with every single time

Interestingly enough, I was driving 2024 grand Highlander and the user interface was different and it remembered last setting and even the speed I set on cruise control. I set it on 70mph and every time I turn on the CC it was there, my 70mph and vtv distance.

It's this way on my wife's Lexus RX as well. I guess us lowly Tundra owners can't have such technology...

I believe there is a custom setting using Carista that can “keep last distance” when changed by the user.

I don't recall that option in Carista.

But then, I don't find it too troubling to push a button on the steering wheel to change vehicle to vehicle distance. So, I might have missed it in Carista.

That's for the pre collision stuff. I don't think it affects v to v.

Interesting. My '24 Limited stays in the previous selection until I turn the rig off.

My BMW remembers but not Toyota lol. I know all vehicles are different and that’s a good thing but sometimes I wish there were more common lol
